Bingo Help Needed—Friday, December 6, December 13, December 20, December 27.

Parents who need to make up Bingo hours….Please report to the gym for job assistance by 4:30 and be sure to sign in on the Attendance Form so your family receives credit for working at Bingo. Also, it is IMPERATIVE that you sign out before you leave at the end of the evening.  You will not receive credit for working Bingo hours if you do not sign out. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.  As stated on page 4 of the Student Handbook; “You must sign in and out on the Bingo Attendance sheet to receive your credit. Parents are not allowed to have anyone else work their Bingo hours. You may not be signed in or out by another parent.”  Thank you to all those families who regularly help at Bingo.  We appreciate all your help!

DECEMBER IS BINGO MAKE-UP MONTH!!

See details below!!!

Winter Calendar Drive continues---Final Days are approaching—We are over half way to our GOAL!!!

Each family is asked to sell…or purchase…. ten Holiday Calendars at a cost of $10 each.  This is one of only two school-wide fundraisers that we ask all families to participate in.  Your cooperation and participation are critical to the success of this effort.  The first drawing of calendars is Wednesday, December 25 for $300.00 with daily drawings through January 2020.  Daily winners will be listed on our school website and all winner’s names are returned into the daily drawing.  These calendars also make great stocking stuffers!!!

Fall Food Drive—Thank you for your amazing generosity!!

Your donations help to maintain St. John’s Food Pantry in Holbrook, long after Thanksgiving Holiday has ended.  SJS Families donated over 1,000 items!!! Thank you for any and all donations.

School Pictures have arrived

On Monday, November 25, students in PreK3 through Grade 8 received their class picture taken earlier this fall.  Dates will be announced soon for re-takes and for those students who were absent for the first picture day.  Thank you for your continuing participation.

BINGO Make-Up in December

Parents who still want to complete their Bingo hours, may come any Friday in December (December 6, 13, 20, 27) from 4:30-7:30 to assist Bingo teams.  Be sure to sign in and sign out in order to get credit for your hours served. Our $250 tuition compensation will be applied to your FACTS account sometime in January.  Thank you for your continuing support and time and thank you to all who regularly assist at BINGO.

STILL NEEDED—Volunteer Cheerleading Coach Wanted—Last Call

We would like to continue our cheerleader program again this fall.  We are looking for parent volunteers who would be willing to coach our students in Grades 4-8 on the rudiments of cheerleading and also prepare them to cheer at home games.  We hope to start as soon as we can find a willing volunteer.  Please email Dr. Merritt as soon as possible with your suggestions and ideas on this program.  Thank you for your willingness to coach our students.
